Our story

We are a group of people active in various initiatives and working in different sectors, ranging from agriculture to culture, health and social work. 
We share common values such as joy, social and environmental justice, freedom and equality, as well as autonomy and care. 

What do we want?

We want and are building a dignified life for everyone. 
 
We campaign for the collective implementation of a Maximum Allowed Wealth (MAW).
 
We fight against extreme wealth.
 

Why stop the ultra-rich ?

Extreme wealth is never deserved. It can only be achieved by exploiting others and the planet. 
The ultra-rich do not work. They get rich by making others work for them. Global poverty is the result of their wealth. Eight men own as much as half the world’s population. 
The ultra-rich do not take care of living things. They get rich by destroying the planet, in particular by burning oil, gas and coal. The richest decile on the planet emits more than 50% of the world’s CO2 emissions. 
The ultra-rich do not care about people’s welfare. Some go as far as supporting extreme right-wing policies to protect their interests and their wealth. They divide us and try to pit us against each other. 
In our great diversity we have much more in common with each other than with them. 
The ultra-rich abuse our social system. It is time to eradicate extreme wealth. 

How to stop the ultra-rich?

Many legal and financial instruments can be used to set a limit to the Maximum Allowed Wealth (MAW). These include for example maximum wage differentials within corporations, taxes on wealth, collectivising inheritance, socialisation of private companies and cancellation of public debt (mostly held by the ultra-rich).
We are in favour of a democratic debate to collectively determine the Maximum Allowed Wealth (MAW), as well as the combination of legal instruments needed to set it up. 
Only collectively can we limit their power and eradicate extreme wealth.
